Terms of Use

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use CreateFolk.

By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, the information you provide is accurate and not misleading, and your use of CreateFolk does not violate applicable law.

CreateFolk may suspend or remove accounts that do not meet these requirements.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.

You must not impersonate another person, create misleading identities, gain unauthorized access to another account, or use CreateFolk for fraudulent purposes.

You are responsible for keeping access to your email account, login credentials and devices secure.

CreateFolk is designed to help people discover one another and their creative work.

Depending on your settings, information such as your display name, username, profile image, biography, creator type, location, links, portfolio, badges, creative intent, availability, public posts and public activity may be visible to other people and, where discoverability is enabled, may also be publicly accessible on the internet.

Public profile pages may be indexed by search engines. You are responsible for deciding what information you choose to make public.

You retain ownership of the content you create and upload to CreateFolk.

This may include images, videos, text, designs, artwork, audio, documents, comments, portfolio material and other creative work ("User Content").

By uploading or publishing User Content, you grant CreateFolk a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, format, transmit and distribute that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, promote and improve the Service.

This licence allows CreateFolk to display your work in feeds and profiles, generate previews or thumbnails, show public profile or post pages, enable sharing, and technically process or resize media.

You continue to own your User Content.

You must have the rights necessary to upload anything you publish on CreateFolk.

You must not upload content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights or other rights belonging to another person.

This applies whether the content was created traditionally, with artificial intelligence, using third-party assets, or through any other production method.

CreateFolk welcomes creative work made with traditional tools, artificial intelligence and hybrid workflows.

You remain responsible for content you generate or publish using AI tools.

CreateFolk does not guarantee that AI-generated material is copyrightable, commercially usable, accurate, original or free from third-party rights.

CreateFolk is intended to support creative collaboration and professional interaction.

You may not use CreateFolk to harass or threaten others, promote illegal activity, distribute malware or phishing material, spam users, scrape accounts or content without authorization, bypass security systems, impersonate another person or organization, publish content you do not have permission to use, or use CreateFolk to commit fraud or deception.

CreateFolk may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts or permanently remove accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, the platform or third parties.

CreateFolk may provide direct messages, public rooms, private rooms, comments, mentions and other communication features.

Messages and rooms should not be treated as guaranteed confidential communication channels. Recipients may copy, screenshot, download or redistribute information you send to them.

CreateFolk may help people discover collaborators, recruiters, brands, jobs, projects, commissions or other opportunities.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, CreateFolk is not a party to agreements made between users and does not guarantee payment, employment, project completion, quality of work, identity of a third party, or outcomes arising from collaborations.

CreateFolk may contain links to external websites and may integrate third-party technologies or services.

Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. CreateFolk is not responsible for the content, security, availability or practices of independent third-party services.

We work to keep CreateFolk available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.

The Service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, hosting issues, internet outages, security incidents, software bugs, upgrades or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

CreateFolk may review reports, investigate misuse and take action when reasonably necessary.

We may remove or restrict content, limit distribution, disable features, issue warnings, temporarily suspend accounts or permanently terminate accounts.

CreateFolk's name, logo, branding, interface, original design elements, software and platform materials belong to CreateFolk or its licensors.

These Terms do not give you ownership of CreateFolk's intellectual property.

If you believe content on CreateFolk infringes your intellectual property rights, contact us with enough information to identify the protected work, the allegedly infringing material, where the content appears, your contact information and the basis for your complaint.

You may stop using CreateFolk at any time.

Where account deletion is available, deleting your account may remove or anonymize associated information subject to technical, legal, security and backup requirements.

CreateFolk may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of serious or repeated violations of these Terms, illegal activity, abuse, security risks, fraud, infringement of third-party rights or threats to users or the platform.

CreateFolk is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law.

We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, every user is who they claim to be, every piece of content is accurate, every professional opportunity is legitimate, or that using CreateFolk will result in employment, clients, revenue or creative success.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CreateFolk and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive losses arising from use of the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

We may update these Terms when features, laws or business practices change.

The updated version will display a revised "Last updated" date. Continuing to use CreateFolk after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Disputes relating to these Terms or CreateFolk will be subject to the courts having appropriate jurisdiction in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
